CAMPS IN PORTUGAL
How to choose a beach volleyball camp in Portugal.
Compare level, coaching, training load, location and inclusions before choosing a beach volleyball camp in Portugal.

Quick answer: five checks before booking
Look for a suitable level, clear goals, coached training, a manageable training load and transparent booking conditions. Compare the full programme and total travel cost alongside the advertised camp fee.
Start with the group level
Ask whether groups are separated by experience and what entry requirements apply. Intermediate and competitive athletes need different challenges. Describe your current level, weekly training and whether you are bringing a partner.
Look for purposeful coaching
Confirm who coaches, the number of sessions, recovery time and whether match play or a tournament is included. Ask how feedback is delivered and whether video analysis is part of the programme rather than assuming it is included.
In our daily coaching, exercises connect to the next action: reception builds an attack, defence creates a transition and serving has an intention. A camp should explain what you will work on as well as how long you will train.
Check logistics and inclusions
Verify the court, travel, accommodation, meals and equipment. A camp in the Lisbon region may take place in Costa da Caparica. Request a clear inclusions list and read cancellation conditions before paying.
A HeliSands example to compare
Easter Camp 2027 is planned for 22–26 March in Costa da Caparica, with twice-daily training, intermediate and advanced/competitive groups and a closing tournament. Read its commercial page for current prices, inclusions and conditions.
For different dates or objectives, request a custom camp for your group. Send athlete numbers, level, dates, preferred training volume and goals so we can prepare a tailored proposal.
