HeliSands, Sociedade Unipessoal, Lda., NIPC 518 144 992, registered office at Rua Casal da Raposa, 6 · 1400-050 Lisboa | Portugal (“HeliSands”). is responsible for processing personal data collected through helisands.com.
Data and purposes
We may process identity and contact details, age, nationality, sporting experience, availability, program selections, attendance, memberships, packs, external-payment records, applications, documents, footage and information voluntarily supplied about limitations relevant to safe participation.
We use this information to answer enquiries, assess level and applications, organise training, camps, events and competition programs, manage the athlete relationship, comply with legal duties, protect our services and, only where permitted, send marketing communications.
Legal grounds and recipients
Processing may be necessary for steps requested before a contract, performance of a service, compliance with law, legitimate interests or consent. Marketing and non-essential cookies are managed separately; images captured during activities follow the specific Image and Video Policy.
Access is limited to authorised HeliSands personnel and service providers that support hosting, forms, storage, communications, administration and security. Data may also be disclosed where required by law.
Applications, video and minors
Application footage is used for technical assessment and is not used publicly without separate permission. Applicants must be authorised to share footage featuring third parties.
A parent or legal guardian must manage applications and permissions for minors. Information concerning health or limitations is collected only when relevant to safe participation and receives restricted access.
Retention and international transfers
Data is retained only for the time required by its purpose and applicable legal obligations. Unsuccessful applications, footage, operational records and accounting documents may have different retention periods.
Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, HeliSands will use an applicable legal transfer mechanism and appropriate safeguards.
Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability or object to processing, and may withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Requests may be sent to helisandsacademy@gmail.com. Identity verification may be required.
You may lodge a complaint with the Portuguese Data Protection Authority (CNPD) at cnpd.pt.
